Grant made her debut in 1977 under the guidance of Myrrh Records, and became the first Christian recording act to have an album be certified platinum. Following her marriage to Gary Chapman in 1982 and a subsequent deal between her record company and A&M Records, a series

I Sing About My Scars
"I sing about my scars, for I know that God Who heals me
And though I fail Him time and again
I find forgiveness in His mercy.
I fall on my knees and let His grace cover me.
And I give glory to the Lord, when I sing about my scars."
I wrote this song after winning a hard-fought battle that left me with scars from the experience. As I stood there thankful but weary, I remembered Jesus bearing the scars of His victory. That experience birthed this song. I hope it ministers to you. more
